Brave App – Guided Meditation Course Platform
A health tech meditation platform where users sign up and work through guided audio and video courses, with every course resetting after 24 hours to build a daily practice rather than a one-off session.
Overview
Brave App is a health tech platform built around guided meditation. Users sign up, choose a course and work through it at their own pace, with sessions delivered as audio and video. Sodio built the platform, from account creation through to course delivery and progress tracking.
Its defining mechanic is the daily reset. Every course resets after 24 hours, so progress is tied to showing up each day rather than finishing a course once and moving on. Meditation works through repetition, and the reset turns that principle into the way the product behaves.
Courses combine audio and video, so users can follow guided practice in whichever format suits the moment — audio for eyes-closed sessions, video where visual guidance helps. The experience is designed to be calm and uncluttered, so the app gets out of the way of the practice it exists to support.

/// The Brief
The client wanted a meditation platform that helped people build a lasting practice, not just try it once. Wellbeing apps commonly see a burst of enthusiasm in the first week followed by a steep drop, because nothing in the product gives users a reason to come back tomorrow.
The brief was a platform where users could sign up, follow structured courses in audio and video, and be drawn into a daily rhythm by the way the product itself works — while keeping the experience calm enough that returning each day felt like relief rather than obligation.
/// Our Approach
The 24-hour reset was the central design decision, and everything else followed from it. Rather than rewarding users for finishing a course as quickly as possible, the reset makes each day a fresh session, so the natural behaviour is to return daily. The product encourages the habit without nagging for it.
Reliable audio and video delivery was the main technical priority. Guided meditation is unforgiving of interruption — a buffering pause breaks the state the session is trying to create — so playback was built to start quickly and continue smoothly, with course progress tracked accurately across each 24-hour cycle.
The interface was kept deliberately quiet. Sign-up is short, courses are easy to find and start, and there is little standing between opening the app and beginning a session. For a wellbeing product, every screen that sits in front of the practice is a reason not to do it.
/// The Result
The result is Brave App: a guided meditation platform where users sign up, follow audio and video courses, and come back each day as every course resets after 24 hours.
By building the daily reset into the product itself, the platform turns consistency — the part of meditation most people struggle with — into the default way of using it. The product simply makes today’s session the one that matters.
Brave App shows what a wellbeing product looks like when it is designed around habit rather than content volume: fewer distractions, reliable playback, and a structure that gently brings people back tomorrow.
