Setup Social is a Web3-native social super app built by Sodio for Setup Super Network, designed to flip the traditional social media model on its head. Instead of platforms monetizing user attention and data, Setup gives users ownership over their digital identity and participation — turning everyday engagement into real, tradeable value.

Built on the Polygon network for fast, low-cost transactions, Setup brings together a social feed, short-form content, a built-in crypto wallet, a creator marketplace, and an AI layer into one connected ecosystem. Every interaction — posting, engaging, creating, and trading — feeds into a dual-token economy designed to reward the community that powers the network, rather than extracting value from it.

Setup Social is being rolled out in phases, starting with core identity infrastructure, the social feed, and wallet functionality, before expanding into decentralized commerce and AI-powered personalization.

Setup Super Network approached Sodio with a vision to build India's first Web3 social super app a platform that could compete with mainstream social networks on user experience while fundamentally changing how value flows between the platform and its users.

The goal was to design a single, unified ecosystem where social interaction, digital identity, decentralized commerce, and intelligent systems could work together seamlessly, without exposing users to the friction typically associated with Web3 products.

Sodio worked closely with the Setup Super Network team to translate an ambitious Web3 social vision into a phased, technically sound product roadmap.

We architected the platform around a sovereign identity layer the Super ID that anchors every user's presence across the ecosystem, from social interactions to wallet activity to marketplace participation. Rather than launching the entire ecosystem at once, we structured development into clear phases, prioritizing core social and identity infrastructure first, followed by commerce and AI-driven features.

Our engineering team focused heavily on abstracting away typical Web3 friction wallet complexity, gas fees, transaction confirmations so the platform could feel as intuitive as a mainstream social app while still being fully on-chain underneath.
